China Trip-A few quick highlights


So I have a lot of photos to sort through and figure out what they are. Once I do that, probably sometime this week, I will post a bunch of good photos on here. But for now, to wet your appetite, I thought I would post a few on here now.

This is the Bund at night. This was taken in the house keeping stairwell, with me lying on my belly because the window was on the same level as the floor.






Above is a picture of the Dragon's Gate, the start of the Three Gorges on the Yangtze. Just a teaser, more pics to come later!












This is the People's Hall in Congqing after a rain storm. Very nice indeed. It was a storm that was a mere foreshadowing of the massive downpour I would get stuck in the next night.

To the right is some fishermen along the Yangzi river. Next to them, the number ten is part of a numbering system along the river showing how high the water level will rise next year when the dam is complete.
